How ProSculpt Resume works
A resume is stored as structured data, not as a picture of a page. That is what lets one resume be scored, compared with a job, rewritten with review and exported in more than one format.
From an existing resume to one written for a job
Create an account
Sign up with your email address. You confirm it with a one-time code, choose a password and say which processing you agree to.
You must be 18 or older. AI processing is optional and off unless you tick it.
Bring in your resume
Upload a PDF, DOCX or TXT file up to 15 MB, or start from a template. A PDF can have up to 15 pages.
ProSculpt reads the file into sections and shows you what it found. You can correct anything before you carry on, and the parts it was unsure about are marked.
Check the ATS Compatibility Score
The score is out of 100 and is built from 6 parts: parsing and structure, skills, keywords in context, experience, completeness and formatting.
The points come from fixed rules, not from an AI model, so the same resume gets the same score every time.
Each issue says what was found, why it matters and how to fix it. Fix what you agree with and check again.
Compare it with a job
Paste a job description. ProSculpt breaks it into required and preferred skills, keywords, experience and seniority.
You see which of those your resume already shows, which are missing and which appear only in a list of skills without any evidence.
Rewrite and tailor, with review
Ask for a new summary, stronger bullet points or a version tailored to the job. Every change is shown as a before and after with a reason.
Anything new to your resume, such as a number, an employer, a job title, a technology, a certification or a degree, is flagged and needs your confirmation. You accept, reject or edit each change.
Export
Download the finished resume as a PDF or a Word (DOCX) file. Both come from the same data as the preview.
The pricing page shows which formats each plan includes.
ATS Compatibility Score
A score that says what it is
The ATS Compatibility Score is ProSculpt's own estimate. It is not a score from any employer's system, it does not copy any vendor's scoring, and no tool can tell you how a particular company's software will rank you. Use it to find problems worth fixing, not as a pass or fail result.
| Part | Points | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Parsing and structure | 20 | Whether the file can be read, and whether contact details, sections and dates are easy to find. |
| Skills | 25 | Skills that fit the role, and whether your experience shows them instead of only listing them. |
| Keywords in context | 20 | Terms from the job description or the target role, used in context. |
| Experience | 15 | Relevant experience, seniority and how well each entry is described. |
| Completeness | 10 | Whether the sections a reader expects are present and filled in. |
| Formatting | 10 | Layout choices that some parsers misread, such as columns, icons or light text on a dark panel. |
What stays in your hands
- Nothing changes without your review: AI changes wait for you to accept, reject or edit them.
- You can edit every field by hand at any time.
- Saved versions let you go back to an earlier state of a resume.
- AI processing is a separate choice you make when you sign up, and the rest of the studio works without it.
